My Health My Choices

Starting - Thursday 4:30 pm September 5

Visit the library to attend a chronic disease self-management program developed by Stanford University’s Patient Education Research Center. This course aims to assist participants in living an active and fulfilling life when faced with chronic medical conditions. By the end of the program, participants will have a plan on how they would like to take care of their health condition, carry out normal activities, and manage emotional changes.

This Course is being offered in partnership with the University of Missouri Extension.

A group of concerned citizens have formed a group, called the Society To Understand People’s Interests & Desires, to better protect people from inappropriate ideas and materials. This group has locked up all your intellectual freedom rights. In order to have full access to your rights, you must break into the box within 45 minutes.

Registration begins September 14.

This tech help service is an opportunity to share conversation with a library staff member on techno gadgets and topics and learn and share device tips and tricks.

Free one-on-one assistance on a variety of devices, apps, computers and other technology related services is provided through the library's tech help service.

You can schedule a 1 hour session with staff by filling out the form below or by calling 573-686-8639. Advance reservation is required and appointments are subject to availability. If appointment collision occurs, we will reach out to you by the contact information you provided.

We offer a variety of different computer classes to meet your needs, from the basics of how to turn a computer on all the way to making formulas in a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. All classes are free and do not require a library card. Drop ins are welcome.
