The Internal Revenue Service has announced that the nation’s 2021 tax season will start for individual tax return filers on Monday, Jan. 24, 2022.

The filing deadline to submit 2021 tax returns is Monday, April 18, 2022. Read the entire IRS announcement here.

For Missouri state, information will be available up to 5 business days after filing electronically or up to 3 - 4 weeks after mailing your paper return.

For United States federal, information will be available as soon as 24 hours after e-filing. Expect extended delays if you mailed your return or responded to an IRS Notice. Information for Where's My Refund is updated daily, usually overnight.
